Scenic access plus meaningful walking

Drive N Trek programs

This format is for travellers who want mountain immersion without committing to a full expedition-style trek. It balances scenic drives with selected walks and shorter trekking sectors.

Why the format works

Drive N Trek programs are especially useful in Kumaon, where hill roads can get travellers into beautiful terrain and carefully chosen walks can add the real mountain feel that a pure drive route often misses.

This is a practical format for mixed-age groups, scenic travellers and people who want to see several mountain environments without turning the whole trip into a full trekking load.

Best fit

Who this format suits

It is especially strong for travellers who want richer mountain contact than a road trip, but not the demand of a fully camp-based trek.

Sample route outline

This sample outline shows how the drive and walking rhythm can be sequenced. Final routing should still be tailored to the group, the season and how much movement feels comfortable.

Delhi to Mukteshwar, local exploration, then onward movement through Almora and Binsar with combined drive-and-walk sectors.

Continue through Jageshwar and Dhaulchina toward Munsyari, followed by the Khaliya Top camp and return sectors.

Move through Chaukori, Shitlakhet and Ranikhet before the final return to Delhi.
